We (Christian, Maren, Patrice and I) left Bountiful to take Christian to the Provo Missionary Training Center. But as is so often the case, first a meal. We headed to Mimi's and had breakfast/lunch. After eating we headed to Provo. So many times we have taken this trip to watch BYU play football and basketball, but this one is different, Christian is a little more quiet.
We drove up to the MTC with lots of missionaries standing on the curbs directing traffic. We stopped at the assigned spot when 2 missionaries opened up the back of the 4runner. His luggage was out in a second, Christian was out and just enough time to get a hug - Christian knows how to give great bear hugs.
Then off he goes with a set of missionaries, he is in Good Hands.
As we drive off I say, "That was slick." Maren breaks down in tears and says, "That was the worst thing - EVER!!!"
Really, it was the BEST thing ever.
